Originally, pre-orders were expected to go live on April 9, 2025, but Nintendo has postponed those plans due to the impact of new tariffs introduced by the Trump administration. Despite this delay, there’s good news: the official release date of June 5, 2025 is still on track. So while you may not be able to reserve your unit just yet, the launch is still happening as planned.

Canada Also Affected by Delay
